It is light weight...not as thick as I thought it would be...it is ok for the price

These pots are very lightweight and seem to be very cheaply made. We were not impressed, even at this low price.

5 out of 5 stars Nice Set   January 10, 2006

I was wary from other reviews about the handles, but I've had a great experience so far. No heat in my handles, and very little will stick to the pans. I just made chili and cleaned the pan in seconds. Nice and light. Great bachelor set.

4 out of 5 stars Great pot set   December 14, 2005

Yes, the handles get hot...that's what oven mitts and dish rags are for. The non-stick coating is fantastic and clean-up is a breeze. I've had them for about 4 months now, and they're still in fabulous condition. I wouldn't recommend them for people who do heavy, advanced cooking...they're great for average families and individuals who make average, uncomplicated meals. Highly recommended

4 out of 5 stars Good set, but not great   October 16, 2005

We got this set so that we could have more pots and pans in case our original set was in the dishwasher. What we got is a good set that we can use anytime and in some ways is handier than our original set, since the lids are see-through. You can see when the water is getting close to boiling and such. This set is light-weight compared to our other set which is steel with a copper core, so I was surprised at the weight, but the only real issue we have had with it so far is that the handles and lids get so hot you have to use an oven mit to pick things up, which we don't have to do with our original set.

If you need more pans, this is a great set.
