For stainless steel pans, these are great for the price September 8, 2008 R. Eye (Maryland) I had a set of stainless steel All-clad pans that I gave away since everything stuck in them and with a price so high, I fell for the hype but the pans didn't deliver - wasted a fortune. I then went with Calphalon and like them very well but sometimes, wished I had some stainless steel pots for steaming veggies or heating soup since the hard anodized Calphalon tends to be difficult to clean with some foods without scouring. I love the silicone handles on this set and the price was excellent given that this same set sells for more than $300 at Neiman Marcus. The bottoms of these pans are not insulated and I put them on par with my old Farberware - which was more durable than the new Farberware.
Beautiful and Strong August 30, 2008 R. Roberts (Arlington, Tx USA) Love this set. Heavy, well balanced, and beautiful to look at. Nice flat bottoms create good contact with my glass stovetop burners. Very pleased.

I've owned this set for 3 month now and they have held up extremely well. Great set for cooks of all types.
The BEST stainless set EVER! July 14, 2008 Chicago Jazz (Round Lake Beach, IL United States) 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
Regardless of Edge's Chinese manufacture, this is absolutely the BEST stainless set I've ever purchased - and I've had them ALL - Revere, All-Clad, et. I was very pleasantly surprised. The heft, balance, craftmanship of this set astounded me. It cooks perfectly and cleans easily. This is an unbelievable bargain - it's easily worth it's $300 suggested list price. You will not be sorry if you decide to purchase this item. I'm SO glad I did!
Chinese factory made May 31, 2008 David Burrell (Sun Valley) 5 out of 14 found this review helpful
This would be a nice set to buy if it were "on special" for around $49.95. Even though they don't state the country of origin, this set is made in China. I paid almost $300 for this set at an "upscale" department store in Texas late last year. After using them for about six months I can only say that they cook well, but stain and scratch easily. I can only figure that the Chinese have not yet figured out how to produce quality stainless steel B.T.W. I still have five pieces of Revere 18/10 stainless that I purchased in 1981 at Montgomery Ward, and after 27 years of use, even though they had been manufactured in either Indonesia or Malaysia, those pieces are still in better shape than this set.
