What a waste of money! March 25, 2005 WickedQueen (MN) I agree with the other negative reviews. Crappy items. Not even two years old and the metal tips on the frying pans have fallen off. And water always accumulates under the knobs of the lids whenever washed in the dishwasher. I'm not an advent cook and yet there is plenty to complain about! I wouldn't recommend this crap even for a beginner.
Just what I needed November 9, 2004 Jodie (Albuquerque, NM) I bought this set to furnish my first house alone. I love them, especially the glass lids. I haven't had any problems with them at all. The handles seem to be holding up fine and I haven't seen any rusting or denting. The nonstick is also holding up fine after 3 months. They may not be professional quality, but they are definately a good starter set.
Wow, awesome set! February 4, 2004 Christos (centennial, co) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The stainless pots are very well made. I purchased a plastic spatula to use with the non-stick frying pans, and have yet to scratch the surface of them. They work great too. IMO, this is very worth it for the price. I do a lot of cooking with this set, and I enjoy using it; no complaints.
Not bad, but not great either! December 30, 2003 James L. Strong (outside Tampa Florida United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Initially, I was pleased with the purchase, since it was a super cut-rate price and I personally LIKED the utensils that everyone else has scoffed at. My disappointment started with the dutch oven, when 1st time out of the plastic wrap and it's one time use boiling crabs, one of the handles snapped in half. Poor quality, poor inspecting, poor testing on this cookware? I will leave that up to the discriminating buyer. My thought is that for a family that does not cook a great deal or for myself, a single fellow, it is not bad cookware, but there are some disappointments that should not be experienced by any of us. The handle on a new piece of cookware breaking first time out should be on that list!
Good value December 10, 2003 D. Cuatt (upstate NY, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First off, I don't claim to be a world class chef, but as someone who does a lot of cooking I found this set to be a very good value. Everything arrived in good shape, and I've been using the pots and pans for a month now and they still look and work fine. I especially like the glass lids for the pots.
