Amazon.com Review Stored together in this set's shapely black stoneware crock, these eight kitchen tools are within reach for nearly every cooking task imaginable. Made of heat-resistant nylon, with gleaming heads and matte-finish handles, the tools are safe with all cooking surfaces, including nonstick. The tool set consists of a long, slotted turner for burgers, eggs, and pancakes; a basting spoon for moistening roasts and poultry as well for serving; a slotted serving spoon; a serving fork for carving and spearing meats and poultry; a ladle for soups and sauces; a whisk for blending sauces and whipping cream; a flexible spatula for scraping bowls; and a spaghetti fork for serving long pastas. The crock stands 6-3/4 inches high and, like the tools, is dishwasher-safe. The entire set carries a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Utensils not heat resistant November 26, 2005 Laura L. Ryan (Vermont) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
These are only good for cold items. Not heat resistant and melt and bend when used with heat. Have thrown these away and replaced. DO NOT BUY -- unless you're desparate for the crock.
Don't use for hot food! April 25, 2005 R. Goltsch (West Caldwell, NJ USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Bought this for the kitchen and the only piece that truly does what it is supposed to do is the vase they give to hold all the pieces. The spoons both melted in pots of boiling water stirring spaghetti. The spatula bent and distorted while trying to lift something off a hot cookie sheet. If there was a choice to give a half star, that is all I would give.....you have to give them some credit, since the vase looks nice on the counter
dont buy this junk, they suck! December 12, 2004 John Chow 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
i guess you get what you pay for. the only item of good quality in this set is the container that holds the pieces. i had one of the ladles in a pot of pasta that was only med high heat and the heat made the plastic shrink. the quality of this product is very cheap plastic. it feels like a toy. do not buy this junk. i wish someone would have revieed this as junk so that i didnt waste $15 on this crap. after the first ladle got deformed, i tried one of the pasta spoons and one scoop into the med high heated water and it ALSO melted. one scooop!!! this is junk and farberware should be embarassed to produce such cheap quality products. i wanted to write their company but couldnt even find the product listed on their website.
Don't use these with high heat June 17, 2003 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
... they will melt. Two of the items have already melted, either because I was using them under high heat or because I left them too near the burner. Other than that, they are reasonably attractive for what they are.
Very nice April 8, 2003 These are very nice, durable items. I'm very please with the look and ease of use and cleaning of these items. Very good buy for the buck.
