Strikingly retro in brushed stainless-steel with black-plastic accents, this 12-cup coffeemaker includes Cuisinart's best brewing technology and premium features for ease and flexibility. The digital clock/timer is programmable for automatically brewing "wake-up" coffee at a selected time and for turning off the warming plate up to four hours in advance. Removing the glass carafe from the warming plate automatically pauses the brewing process for a quick pour, and the warming plate's temperature can be adjusted. For maximum flavor, the machine can be set to brew one to four 5-ounce cups or five to twelve cups, and it includes a charcoal water filter. For convenience, a permanent Gold Tone filter eliminates messy paper filters and an indicator-light shows when decalcification is needed. Most people think reconditioned means broken item that was returned. Some Items are returned but are not really broken. This item I'm had now at least over 5 year and it works like a charm. It wonderful programming my coffee to be ready the next moring. Easy clean up. Makes a great pot of hot coffee. not much more to say.

We bought this coffeemaker to replace one we had for over 5 years. We almost replaced with the same brand but decided to go with this one to try a different brand. My husband loves the toggle for on/off and we love that we can program it to make coffee just before we wake up and have coffee waiting for us in the morning. Really easy to use and program but it didn't come with a gold filter and we have to pull the coffeemaker out from under the upper cabinet to fill the water reservoir. All in all, we love this coffeemaker and we would buy it again!

Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker, Black and Stainless Steel
The price for this coffeemaker could not be beat. It arrived later than stated by several days. The machine was in very good shape for being reconditioned. It did have a few blemishes on the lid, but other than that it runs perfect and is definitely producing a better cup of coffee than our former coffeemaker. It is a little difficult to pour the water through the back opening but if you use the glass coffee pot to measure the water this works well. I am not sure why it did not come with the gold coffee filter cup. This is not necessary, but should have been included with the price of a reconditioned coffeemaker. Overall we are very pleased with the unit.

When I finally ditched the old plain coffee maker and tried this one, I could not believe how much better my coffee tasted! I liked it so much, I bought another one for our vacation house.
