| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review With a 350-watt motor to easily crush ice and touch-pad controls offering seven speeds, including pulse, this blender not only creates frosty cocktails, smoothies, ice-cream shakes, and other drinks, but also mixes smooth soups and sauces, chops bread crumbs and nuts, grinds hard cheeses, emulsifies salad dressings, and produces party dips. (Recipes included.) The 5-cup glass container and the heavy base (made of plastic but resembling brushed chrome) spell durability and look great on bar or counter. Fully assembled, the blender stands 15 inches high, and its oblong base measures 8-1/4 inches deep. The glass container, plastic lid with its 2-ounce measuring insert, and stainless-steel blade are dishwasher-safe. The blender carries a 90-day warranty. --Fred Brack Editor's note: This is a reconditioned small appliance. Reconditioned generally means that the appliance has been returned to the manufacturer, who returns the appliance to like-new condition. Some appliances may contain cosmetic blemishes.

| Customer Reviews:
not bad for the price, looks nice, dont mix well with ice August 6, 2007 Christopher Nai (ct/mass) i bought this blender after reading all the bad reviews...the main factor was the 25.00 price. only used 3 times and works well but when mixing ice you need to stire with a spoon or something...looks real nice and expensive though.
refurbished cuisinart July 28, 2007 dorz critique (san pablo, ca) sleek and chic! crushes well, blends well, BUT has that "something is burning" smell. agree with other customer's review about the burning odor. kinda scary, so i turned it off and gave the blender a little rest and time-out during my cocktail party. guess it's worth the $25 i paid for, since it is a re-conditioned appliance after all.
Nice blender! July 22, 2007 Jill H. Niederholzer (Yuba City, CA) I was a little reserved about buying a refurbished item, but this was well worth $25.00. It works beautifully. I saw it advertised new at Macy's on sale for 69.99.
You get what you pay for July 8, 2007 L. Mukhaelyan (EastCoast, USA) So far so good for 25 bucks. Smells burning motor when operating and "Pulse" function not working from day one. I suspect more issues to come.
