Product Description
Wouldn't this make a great gift for a student, or a commuter? The machine brews right into the thermal travel mug and then shuts itself off, so your favorite coffee lover can simply grab and go!

Amazon.com Review
Great for commuters, office professionals, and one-coffee-drinker households, this personal coffeemaker brews 15 ounces of coffee directly into a stainless-steel travel mug. The mug has a rubber handle for a safe grip and a lid to keep coffee hot. It's tapered to a 2-1/2-inch-diameter bottom, so it fits most vehicle cup holders. The coffeemaker itself is designed for an on-the-go coffee drinker. It has a permanent filter--no messy disposable paper filters required--and shuts off automatically after brewing. The mug, filter, filter basket, and mug lid are dishwasher-safe, and the coffeemaker can also be used to heat water for tea, hot chocolate, and instant foods like oatmeal and soup. Made of gleaming black plastic, it measures 9-3/4 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 6 inches deep, and carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

5 out of 5 stars Works as advertised.   October 11, 2008

I've been using mine daily for about a month now. Works flawlessly. It took a couple of tries to figure out the right amount of coffee to add to suit my taste, but after that it's been simple. Add the coffee, fill the mug to within a half-inch of the rim, and pour that into the coffee maker. Then I set the open mug in place and go to bed. In the morning, just before I get ready to leave the house, I turn it on. Less than 2 minutes later the coffee is done. I put the lid on and go. My only nitpick is with the handle on the mug. It's really not needed and makes it a bit of a pain to use both cupholders in the center console of my car. But that is indeed a minor issue. Otherwise I'm very pleased with this coffee maker.

5 out of 5 stars 8 years and counting!!!   October 9, 2008

I've had mine for at least 8 years and it still works wonderfully! This past summer, it wasn't working too well for awhile. All the water wouldn't get used. I ran a cup of white vinegar through it and it was good as new!!! Terrific value esp considering the price!!!

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed   October 4, 2008

I was looking for a small coffee maker that would be easy to use and quick to clean. Thought this was it, but have to say I am disappointed. For starters, the coffee grounds splash up onto the underside of the lid, so the it's necessary to unplug the maker and take it to the sink to rinse off. I've tried several brands of coffee and none of them come out tasting very good.
Also, the mug fell apart, with the outer sleeve separating from the inner cup.

5 out of 5 stars Good single cup maker   September 30, 2008

I purchased this coffee maker because, I like to have the first cup of coffee that gets made everyday but that's it. When you make coffee that sits in a pot it doesn't taste as good as the first fresh cup, it sits there cooking, ruining the flavor. This product works great for me, it makes a great tasting cup of coffee and cleans up easy with no paper filters.
