Read the reviews on line so I was aware that this was a great toaster, but had a tendency to burn toast and to keep the dial low, around 2, when toasting. We have been and it has been fine. Have used all the features, reheat, defrost, etc. and it's a simple, easy toaster to use.

We were extremely disappointed with the toaster. It only toasts well on one side; one has to turn the bread over. We are usually pleased with Cuisinart products; this is definately an exception.

Not impressed with this toaster. Replaced a cheapie from Walmart and it made more evenly browned toast. Also, bagel setting on this unit leads you to believe it will toast only on on side; this is not the case. It toasts both sides. Overall I would not recommend this product for the price.
