4 out of 5 stars Very Good addition to my coffee maker   July 13, 2008
Joe E. Head (New York City)
But not perfect. I have a Cuisinart Grind and Brew and occasionally the grinds end up in my coffee because the basket is more shallow than paper filters. I do like that it's "green". 1/4th of an inch taller would be better for this machine.

5 out of 5 stars No problems so far   March 31, 2008
D. MCGEE (Seattle, WA USA)
Been using this filter for a while now (around 10 months I think) and really haven't had any problems at all. Makes a great cup of coffee. I am actual a bit of a coffee snob - but I don't really care to spend the time doing a french press every morning (and I like having a thermal carafe in my coffee maker that keeps it hot for 4+ hours on the weekends). Haven't had much trouble cleaning it but it does put more grounds down the drain than I would like because they kind of stick to the filter.

5 out of 5 stars Cuisinart Coffee Filter   March 29, 2008

A filter that is reusable. Save money. Even though it is advertised that it may let coffee grinds through, I have not had that experience. Worth its money.

5 out of 5 stars Cuisinart filter   February 20, 2008

It works well, but it is a mess to use and clean. It is much easier to use paper filters.

2 out of 5 stars Tough to clean and not heart healthy   February 14, 2008

I have been using this (don't tell ;), but it is a pain to clean. You end up putting a lot of grounds down the drain. A bigger issue is that coffee has a lot of oils in it which are not good for you if you are a heart patient. The paper filter eliminates the majority of these fatty oils so it's one less source for you to be concerned with. (Learned this in cardio-rehab after my own heart attack). I will probably go back to using paper.
