Like someone else has already said, this was just what I was looking for. It is a well-built, stainless steel framed splatter screen. It is large enough for my largest frying pans and yet it will fit over the other medium fry-pans I own as well. I paid $10.99 and it is well worth the price. It looks like it will last for many seasons, though I just purchased it only a few weeks ago! I own a glass-top stove and it really saves from the grease splatters on the surface of the stove when I fry bacon, or other meats! The screen is very finely woven and prevents all of the grease splatters from escaping, yet allows steam to escape so the meat ends up crisp. The bottom line: I recommend this item highly.

I recently purchased this deluxe splatter screen from Amazon. First, it came in a very timely fashion, well packed. I just love it. Especially the ability to have it sit so nicely on the top of the frying pans and to stand alone on the counter without the greasy part lying on the counter itself. It is very easy to clean, and is such a joy to use. No more messes with grease splatters, and the price was really great. TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT.....

This is a good product in my opinion. I'd buy again. I see no faults with it and it seems well made. The stand offs do make it nice to keep it off the counter or centered within the pan.

All my prior splatter screens came apart, where the screen is attached to the frame. This one is a finer mesh and seems stronger. I will have to see if the screen pulls out of the frame as I continue to use it. For some reason this item was shipped in a b-i-i-i-g box. It could have shipped in a box that is 13x16x1 inches, 208 cubic inches. It came in a box that is 26x19x9 inches, 4,446 cubic inches (2.57 cubic feet) literally more than 21 times the size it needed to be. Somebody must have decided Amazon should become a "big box retailer."
