Product Description Fry like a pro using this Emerilware Deep Fryer. Designed to heat quickly and super hot, it offers high-power precision digital control, so food comes out perfectly crispy, not soggy. It automatically filters, drains and stores the oil so you can use it again and again and even tells you when it???s time for an oil change. The 2.65 pound food capacity lets you enjoy plenty of homemade fried potatoes, chicken nuggets, egg rolls, donuts and more, and a large viewing window helps for monitoring while it fries. Holds up to 3.3 liters of oil.

What a mess February 22, 2008 Joe in Colorado The fryer worked very well but no better than the same style Waring we owned previously. I was aware of a potential problem with the oil drainage and storage capacity noted in a product review that stated that the oil reservoir had to be positioned exactly right or oil leakage would occur during filtering. I was very careful about this but the result was a terrific mess. Oil did not leak, it flooded the counter. The reservoir was positioned properly but I don't think it could handle the amount of oil draining in without some sort of air vent. We used it once and returned it. Very disappointing.
Just out of warranty, FIRE! June 27, 2006 N. Kosta (Stockton Ca) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great fryer for 12.5 months. Thermostat burned up and got hot enough to melt it's plastic housing. It sent molten flaming bits of plastic on to my counter top and filled my kitchen with smoke.
does nothing my old fryer can not... September 14, 2005 JJ (United States) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I got this expecting crisper fries etc..but they seem soggier..follow all the directions but not impressed. Several things wrong with this. I do not have children so not happy with these "magnetic" plugs..They pop off very easily..There should be a provision to have a normal plug for more stability. The other thing I do not like is the gimicky filtration system. Most of the crumbs stick along the sides of the container and fall between the little space of the strainer and container..therefore they go to the bottom and never get filtered out...plus..cleaning is a chore..to many parts to take out and clean..The filter does nothing..same greasy smell in the house..My old unit had 2 pieces...basket and unit. Also goes up to 400 degrees...this goes to 375..maybe that is why things come out somewhat soggy and greasy. Taking it back and digging out the old cheapo fryer...save your money.
Nice Unit September 7, 2005 Beverly DeForde (Taunton, MA United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This fryer does its job very well. The one problem is heat--the outer shell gets very hot so it is not good around children. It is easy to clean and has a good filtration system. I would recommend it for anyone who really likes fries.

This is a fabulous fryer. Since purchasing it, we have used it several times. Because of its capacity and high heat capabilities, you can process large quantities of food and they don't get as greasy as they did with our old fryer. Definitely worth the investment.
