Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Fried food is undoubtedly delicious, but don't you wish you could knock out the fat? Geroge Foreman's groundbreaking spin fryer does just that, using innovative spin technology to remove excess fat, leaving behind food that's crispy and crunchy or the outside yet soft and warm within. One-year warranty. Model GSF026B.

2 out of 5 stars Flimsy Parts   June 8, 2010

The Smart Spin idea is really good. The food does not come out greasy/oily.
The basket size is too small though. You cannot put a lot in there.
It is so hard to open the lid because the thing to open is made of plastic.
It sticks a lot. Sometimes, the thing to hold the basket up for spinning does not work. It's erratic.

I like it because it takes the oiliness out of food but I wish they can make it with a bigger basket and better parts.

1 out of 5 stars Dangerous   May 12, 2010

I am very disappointed in this product, while in use, the electrical caught on fire and proceeded to melt the sourrounding components exposing the wiring inside. It even melted through the lid....very dangerous!!!

5 out of 5 stars It is what is says it its!   April 19, 2010

I must confess that this really works. At least half or more of the grease is removed. Very little is present on the "soaker" towel at the end. Only minor complaint is that the basket is smaller than my old fryer.

2 out of 5 stars dont bother   March 17, 2010

I thought this item (especially the smart spin function) was a really good idea. I tried to use it once and was unable to use the smart spin function, because the fry basket would not click into place. I cooked chicken acccording to the instructions and it came out very raw on the inside. The item is rather heavy, takes up a lot of cabinet space, andonly holds/cooks very little food at a time. I registered it upon arrival, and after learning that it did not work was told by the George Foreman/warranty company that it was over a year old and was no longer covered (eventhough I had just received it).
All in all I would say a huge, worthless, hassle.

4 out of 5 stars Good Fryer!   March 11, 2010
James Orrahood (Henderson, Kentucky)
Over all this is a pretty good fryer. As was stated in other reviews, the over all size is a factor and if you like a lot of fried foods, this product would not be very good for you. The temp. gages are hard to read. The smart spin is nice but you need to watch as it will damage the food when spinning.
