Very happy with this fryer May 15, 2008 S. Fong (CA USA) I'm so happy with this fryer. It cooks fries and chicken beautifully. Very easy to clean and I love the oil drain. The only tricky part was learning how properly slide the heating control into its holding slot and getting the power cord on right. The fryer won't turn on if both bits are not in right. I have not had a problem since that first time. The fryer is well worth the money.
time saving clean-up a great plus January 7, 2008 C. Arthur (San Diego, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
a very good value for the price; the oil-draining spigot is a real plus for saving time while filtering and draining the oil for storage.
Great Little Fryer December 29, 2007 S. Lopez 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This fryer works great. The food comes out nice and crisp not oily. I wish it was a bit larger for larger items.
DeLonghi Deep Fryer November 25, 2007 S. Shumaker (Savannah, GA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have had my deep fryer now for about a month. I have used it 3 times and it has been so much fun to be able to make crunchy french fries and fried chicken. I haven't had any problems with sticking or leaking and cleanup is easy. I would improve the product by adding a timer and a slightly higher temperature setting. Also, some sort of filter would be helpful for draining the oil to use again. It is also important not to put too much food in the basket as it will take more time for it to get back to the correct temperature. Overall though, it has been worth the cost. It has a cover, it heats up quickly and has a ready light. We have enjoyed having it.
with light use broke down in a few months September 24, 2007 William S. Kennedy (Minneapolis) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Broke down in a few months with little use. It was fine, went o use it one evening, plugged it in and NOTHING. Had to run out and by a diffent brand as the clams were waiting.
