This is the second oven of this model that we have owned. We tried a Cuisinart but it did not have the features of the Delonghi. Features that are better with the this Delonghi oven: Easier to clean (removable crumb tray); interior light; shuts off automatically (the Cuisinart keeps on heating/cooking after timer stops); easy-to-operate controls. This is the best convection oven you can buy for the money, just hard to find because they are not manufacturing them anymore.

This was a gift for a young couple who is enjoying all the many functions. They are baking, fan / baking, broiling, and toasting something at every meal. They laugh about their "quality time" reading directions and cooking new recipes. The defrosting and dehydrating features appeal to me. I wish I had one of my own. It will bake a whole chicken or toast six slices of bread. It is easy to clean and because of its size should conserve energy.

When reading over the reviews, I was a little worried about ordering this product. However, consumer reports rates these ovens very highly and I knew if I got a good one I would be quite happy. The box arrived in one piece, the oven looked great, all the pans and the book were included. It has worked great and I would recommend anyone take the chance I took. It was well worth it. This is a wonderful buy!

Before I bought this oven, I read all of the reviews, good and bad. When my oven arrived, I opened it and tried every feature and they worked flawlessly. No more soggy food heated in the microwave!!!
