Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
If you grew up in a traditional Italian family you might remember strands of homemade pasta draped on a broom handle supported by two kitchen chairs. This easily assembled, easily stored wooden rack operates on the same principle, providing twelve linear feet of hanging space in a far smaller area.

Amazon.com Review
Making your own pasta is enough of an adventure without having to find places to hang it out to dry. That's what all those clotheslines in Italy are used for when they're not drying clothes. This wooden rack takes about 10 minutes to put together (really) with a Phillips screwdriver. It stands 15 inches high, and has 12 wooden dowels upon which you can hang your fettuccine, spaghetti, capellini, and the like. Go for it. Making fresh pasta is fun and worth it--and if it doesn't work out, you can always use it to hang your socks out to dry. Ciao! --Shannon Borg

Received the dryer and assembling it would not be a BIG DEAL even through no instructions were included BUT UNBELIEVABLY they also "forget" to drill a hole for the screw to go through one of the feet at attach the base to the upright...well, ok still no biggie IF I HAD A DRILL however the screw needs to be recessed on the underside of base to stand flush so I'd not only have to own a drill BUT a 1/4" circular chuck to recess the scream head into the foot to allow it to stand flush! RIDICULOUS where was the quality control here...more trouble than it's worth to either fix it or send it back! I'd suggest that you buy a dryer you can "see" in a brick and mortar store.

My husband uses this more than me....I crank out the noodles and he catches them with the drying rack rods. My only complaint is that it's a big cumbersome to store since once you put it together it's best to leave it together.

5 out of 5 stars What a great addition to pasta making   February 21, 2007

I love this rack, before had noodles spread all over dining room table. Now their on the counter, dry in no time, neat and clean. If you make pasta this is the rack to get.

This is an EXCELLENT PRODUCT! The wood is just fine for the purpose, it was easy to put together, and it holds a ton of pasta! The dowels come off so you can drape pasta over each one then put it back on the rack to dry. When you're done, you can wash the dowels and fold the rack flat. Ours stays between cutting boards, and we kept the box for the dowels.

In response to the negative reviews, I must say that there sure are a lot of idiots out there trying to make pasta. I'm surprised they can even work a pasta maker. Some idiot mentioned the screws rusting. News flash, you don't put this thing in the dishwasher. The only part that needs cleaning is the dowels. Or maybe he's making drippy, soggy noodles. Either way, get a clue.

This is the best pasta rack on the market. Great design.
