The DeLonghi Combination Espresso/Coffee machine is an all-in-one machine that can brew coffee and espresso simultaneously. This machine can also prepare a great cappuccino, latte or hot chocolate for the perfect drink. The patented instant froth dispenser lets you add froth right in the same cup as your coffee or cappuccino. This machine features programmable digital timer that allows you to set the machine to turn on at a later time and even sets to the exact minute. The Vario system and Accuflavor selector dials allow you to choose the strength of espresso and coffee just the way you like it.  Don't buy the machine July 16, 2008

I purchased this upgrading my previous version which died. It makes good coffee and good espresso but it cannot froth milk. The milk leaks between the o-ring seals of the red regulator where the milk and steam are mixed. I have replaced every single part of the milk container, regulator, o-rings, tube and nothing worked. I was told to take it to their service center. I took it there and after over a month he requested a new machine. The new machine arrived today and as I tried the frothing, it leaks milk from the top of the red regulator which prevents it from making frothed milk. It seems like the regulator and the seals are not made for this machine. I see an uneven gap when I look at it carefully.
I didn't intend to pay $145 for just a coffee machine. I have been using DeLonghi for the past 10 years and I bought this model for the automatic frothing system which doesn't work.
DO NOT buy this model.
 SUPER - great way to fill water July 6, 2008

I just love this coffee maker. Most surprisingly was the container you take out and fill with water not having to use a Glass Carafe for refill. I enjoy it greatly. Wonderful product for a great price!
 Good Coffee - not so good milk steamer July 2, 2008

This makes good and FAST regular drip coffee. The espresso maker makes good coffee - but so slow - and the milk steamer is just not user friendly. We have used it a few times - but went back to using our hand-held frother after about 5 trys. We really wanted a good milk steamer - but didn't get it with this one!

This is a great product so far... I bought it at a local shop for $115.00 new. Amazon's price is only a handful of dollars beneath the listed MSRP on the Manufacturer's website.
Worst working latte maker June 16, 2008

The latte foaming piece on this coffee maker has never worked since we purchased it. When we complained and were sent a replacement part it was missing a crucial piece and they still have not replaced it. We purchased this coffee maker for its latte making foam ability. Alas, we have had the machine for almost a month and still cannot make foam.
