I have used the fryer 8 times with perfect results. You need to try fried hotdogs, leave them in until they get a little dark, and they are great. I recommed this to anyone, large or small family. It is exactly as advertised.

There are many things to like about this deep fryer, especially the ease with which the grease is drained from the fryer. I could have lived without a timer, and could have lived without a temperature control, but I just can't live with its inability to heat the grease past 340 . I checked the temperature with 3 different thermometers, all of which said the same thing. The highest temperature it was able to reach was 345 , when most fried foods require a temperature of 375 . I tried letting it heat for nearly 30 minutes, and tried stirring the grease - but was unable to get the temperature up to even 350 . I tried twice to cook fish and french fries. The french fries almost burned before they got crisp, and the fish had to cook longer than usual in order to get it crispy. I supposed this unit could have been defective, but I'm not taking a chance with a replacement - I'll just get another model/brand, and, alas (I hate to return stuff), this one is going back.

I really like this product and would buy it again. Easy clean up and fries my food to perfection. I wished that it had a temp setting.

I had an older model that worded great so I was looking for a replacment but this one is not as good as the old model it is still a great fryer.

I couldn't believe the ease and quality of this fryer. We made the best french fries ever!!! Easy to use and easy clean up. We had a Fry Daddy and this fries rings around it!!! :-) When we emptied the oil, we found out..we had almost as much as we started with...thus great NON-GREASY fries. Can't wait to try other foods...but 5 stars for the fries. Plus...we were able to make fries for a crowd... really quickly. Would definitely recommend!
