Product Description The DeLonghi Ceramic Tower Heater has a 22-inch high Tower Design featuring a flat front grille that resembles a HI-FI sound system with brushed stainless steel knobs. The body oscillates from side to side so it can warm every corner of the room. Just set your desired comfort level with the electronic controls and this intelligent heater will adjust temperature and heat output accordingly. And because the fan speed always stays constant, you can enjoy quiet warmth. A Large LED display means you can read the temperature from far away. Automatically turn the unit on and off for custom periods of up to 8 hours with a built-in timer. An adjustable thermostat lets you easily select and maintain your desired level of comfort. A ceramic heating element provides an intense directional flow of heat with the extra large grille for better circulation. 2 heat flow settings let you regulate the output of warm air. Choose the HIGH setting for 1500 watts or the LOW setting for 825 watts. Alternately, the fan can be operated without heat for summer ventilation. An anti-freeze setting automatically turns the heater "on" when the room temperature drops below 44 degrees Fahrenheit. Safety thermal cut-off is one more way to ensure product safety. If the unit becomes too warm, it automatically turns off. No need to worry about overheating. This unit features a handy remote control so you can change the unit's operation from anywhere in the room.

Electrical Hazard November 17, 2008 P. Turec I owned this heater for one day and it fried the wiring in the bedroom it was in. When the heater turns on and off from the thermostat, be prepared for it to pull so many amps that it fries the circuit. Stay far away from this heater. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
Flips breaker October 12, 2008 MX Mom 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this a few weeks ago and have had trouble with it tripping the breakers. Our home was built in the late 70's, and I'm not an electrician so I don't know what our amps are for our breaker box. I've tried it in different areas hoping to find a circuit that will allow it to work without trouble. But if I forget I have it on and turn on another appliance, then it's lights out. I will probably return it and look for something that has lower wattage.
Nice heater, quiet February 26, 2008 C. K. Weston 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So far, this heater works well. It's quiet, and the oscillating feature is nice. It has a small footprint, so it doesn't take up too much room in my living area. Only negative is that the heat doesn't carry too far, so you need to be sitting very close in order to feel the warmth.
DeLonghi Review February 17, 2008 V. Hunter (Atlanta, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This heater is packaged well (ala looks nice) but it doesn't put out much heat even on the high setting. I do like the "tip" safety feature (and it blends with my decor) so it was not a complete waste of money. I would not use this heater for anything more than heating up a small bathroom as you have to be very close to it to feel any warmth. My larger rooms heat better when I use one of the small space heaters I purchased at a local retailer.
Not what I expected January 19, 2008 Mariana (Blacksburg, VA) I got smaller and cheaper heaters in the past and they did work more efficiency than this one.
