Breathe easier in your home or office with this three-piece FreshZone air purifying set from DeLonghi. Using a combination of filter types and a totally sealed system, the purifiers increase airflow, improve air quality, and eliminate staleness and odors. Together the purifiers filter up to 400 square feet. Each machine features three separate filters--a washable prefilter, an electrostatic filter, and an active carbon filter. Here's how the system works: A powerful silent fan draws room air through the purifier's grill. The prefilter removes large particles like lint and pollen, and then the electrostatic filter removes particles down to 0.3 microns. An active carbon filter, the final step, removes odors before air returns to the room. In addition to the filters, each purifier features a separately controlled ionizer that reduces overall static electricity in rugs, televisions, and computer monitors. The set includes one large and two small purifiers. Both sizes feature a "quiet" operation level, indicator lights, and three placement positions (horizontal, vertical, and wall-mounted). The large model, suitable for 200 square feet, comes with four power levels and dial-controlled power. The small models are suitable for 100 square feet, with three levels of operation and sliding power switches. Pop-up filter cartridges on both models make filter changing easy.
