Makes Frothing Easy January 23, 2008 Bella (Houston, TX) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is the system we use with our Jura-Capresso automatic coffee center. It froths automatically, so it makes it extremely easy to make cappuccinos and lattes - much easier than with other systems, and much much easier than having to drive someplace everytime you want a gourmet coffee beverage.
I really wanted to like this... September 21, 2007 Kalo Alexandra (Sacramento, CA United States) 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
In the light of day, this is just more trouble than it is worth. Frankly, the valve is just about worthless and the container is an extra piece. If you can find some small diameter silicone tubing and an angled tee, you can effectively make your own frothing system (and a far more versatile one, at that) for a few bucks. Save your money. Take some measurements and go to Tap plastics and talk to the nice people behind the counter. If they don't have what you need, maybe Amazon stocks your parts.
Works like a charm February 13, 2006 John Miller (Austin, TX USA) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I purchased one of these to see if it would be better than doing it by hand... boy is it ever. It works even better than I'd hoped. Clean up is about as easy as can be expected. My only complain would be that the container is plastic; metal or glass would hold a chill better, making for better foam. But if you want, you can use a different vessel (metal or glass) and that would work fine, so my complaint is pretty minor.
