Product Description
Capresso Mini-S Espresso and Cappuccino Machine - You can say all you want about espresso makers but, after all the debating, the issue is what you need to invest in order to get yummy espresso or espresso-based beverage. Capresso Mini-S wins the argument - it's affordable, fast, and simple to operate. It's as easy as making a cup of regular coffee but it's tastier, richer, and more robust. This economical Espresso maker uses steam pressure instead of a pump mechanism to create delicious espresso. It's a fast method that's just perfect for a morning wake-up or after-dinner drink. 2 out of 5 stars Doesn't Hold Up   September 6, 2008

We previously had a Krups and then a Braun espresso machine. Each lasted ten...yes, 10...years. When the Braun went kaput, I purchased the Capresso. I didn't want anything fancy but something that would hold up to our daily use. The machine was very simple and perfect for a beginner. Unfortunately, it died one year and one month after purchase. Go figure...one month after the warranty was up. Things that make you go...hmmmm. I won't be buying another.

1 out of 5 stars Started out good...for two weeks   August 20, 2008

For two weeks this machine worked good. Then slowly it started to fail. And this was only making one to two cups a day. Going back!

Came in perfect shape. The express maker itself is easy to use, makes good expresso. Now that we don't have the old fashion kind that is heated up on the stove our kitchen looks classier

4 out of 5 stars Great for the price   August 2, 2008

I purchased this machine for my daughter who is in college. She was spending $5 a day for espresso and we decided to try brewing our own. This machine is great for the price. It is easy to use and a real money saver. I have already recommended it to several friends and would recommend it to anyone.

5 out of 5 stars quite nice   July 23, 2008

I just bought this machine and have been using it few times. I love it! The included video is a great start, but of course making a really good cup of latte will take some time.

I like latte so that's what i make each time, and large ones. I steam 8-10 oz milk with syrup each time, it took time to heat it up

There are two things I think it can be improved upon:
1) the temperature (of the milk) could be a little bit higher and quicker
2) i am still experimenting the right time to turn it off, sometimes it still tastes a little burnt. It would be great if there is a second light to indicate this.

Right now I'm using skim milk but it lacks creamy flavor, does anyone know if using whole milk or 2% would improve this? Thanks.
