2 out of 5 stars NOT a bible - just another book   July 5, 2008

Much less than what I'd expect of a "bible." Shop around for other options if you're considering this. There are other, better, recipes in other books... I'm sure.

Good book, well written! I prefer tabbed cook books, but this is still worth buying.

What a great book. Without this "bible" I had no idea what the real reason for a processor was. Now, I find there are so many reasons to have one, I'm not sure how I got along without one! There are enough recipes in this book to keep you entertained for a year, with suggestions that will expand anyone's menu.

5 out of 5 stars great book   January 18, 2008

I found this book helpful but I wish it had more info on the different discs we can get for the processor and what each can be used for, etc. There are some of us that are so new to a processor and need to know more details. I did try the best banana bread recipe and my son said this was the best banana bread he ever had and I think I even over processed a bit too. I think this book is a must have.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent recipe book: way beyond food processing, but give me pictures!   December 29, 2007

I've only started using a food processor regularly within the past 6 months. I got this book for Christmas and so far it has been excellent. I really like how the recipes are unique and not just the same old but with food processor directions. My favorites so far are the minestrone and the spinach souffle. The one thing I wish it had was photos. All recipe books can gain from having photos of some kind. When it comes to food processing, it's nice to have a visual representation of the different consistencies and textures.

Overall, great book but it'd be nice if there were images.
