Amazon.com Review Much smaller than your traditional blender, this handheld stick blender is compact and easy to store in a small kitchen. Additionally, it saves you the time and effort of cleaning up a blender pitcher as the Quick Prep lets you blend right in your soup pot, mixing bowl, or glass. The powerful motor has two speeds for the best blending results: low is perfect for milk shakes, pancake batter, dips, and dressings, while high works better for baby food, soups, and whipped cream. An ergonomically designed handle provides a comfortable hold for long blending jobs and the brushed chrome finish gives the blender a sleek look for a contemporary kitchen. After use, the blade end easily rinses and wipes clean and the lengthy 5-foot cord wraps around the unit for storage. The Quick Prep comes with a 2-cup plastic mixing container and a recipe booklet and is covered by a limited 18-month warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

Can't ask for more in a hand blender! July 17, 2008 P. Cannon (Big Pine Key, Florida United States) WOW, this is an exceptional tool. I have owned a Braun, Rival, Sunbeam and an Oster all of which failed within a year or less, the Oster being by far the worse. I was so surprised that this blender was so powerful, even on ice mixed with liquid. The biggest surprise was that after you are done blending you just leave the blender in the cup and push a button to release the lower half of the unit making it totally mess free moving it to the sink for easy clean up! I didn't expect that feature and I would have chosen it just for that feature had I known. This unit is light and very powerful far better then any other brand I have tried. In this price range this is the only choice, I can't imagine any blender even in the over 100 dollar range working any better. Get it you will love it!
LOVE, Love, love this product.... January 10, 2007 E. Key (birmingham, AL USA) This is my first immersion blender and use it several times a week to cream my soups. The size is perfect, not too heavy or too big to handle. Very, very pleased with both the price and the product.
Great product for our use July 30, 2006 Bilbo (San Francisco, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We have used ours to blend bananas, all sorts of berries, egg and to mix up our juices. Had it about a month, no problems at all. Just be careful not to get water in the motor compartment - when you're cleaning the rotor under the hot water, it has a tendency to splash it in that direction.
very nice product, performs as I expected April 10, 2006 Amalfi Coast Girl (Mid-Atlantic, USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I have had this immersion blender for more than six months. It is wonderful for pureeing soups and sauces in the pot, eliminating the possibility of burning yourself when transferring hot items to the blender or food processor. I have found that whipping cream is best done in a very cold bowl with a whisk or with a stand mixer. If you want an easy appliance for whipping cream buy a whipped cream canister that you charge with gas, they work great. Check out the ISI 2470 Thermo Whip - Polished Stainless canister at Amazon. The product is also easy to clean if you put the blade end in a vessel of warm soapy water as the manufacturer recommends. I highly recommend this product.
This is the tool I've been waiting for March 31, 2006 J.B. (Rye, NY USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I don't know why it took me so long to get this blender. My daughter-in-law has one and I saw how handy it was. Anyway, I really like it. It does a fine job on drinks, mashed potatoes and sauces and it's easy to clean. I had no problem whipping just a 1/4 cup of cream in the provided container. I will probably retire my Cuisinart food processor to the pantry now, and use the hand-held mixer just for egg whites.
