Product Description Make the most of your toast. Dual controls give you two toasters in one, allowing you to simultaneously prepare two different servings. Each side gives you a nine-setting browning control, while a selection of touchpad controls help you specify the type of toasting - defrost, bagel and cancel. A slide-out crumb tray catches any refuse for easy cleanup.

Great Toaster July 31, 2008 CP (NY) My husband was not happy with our old toaster,,,,seemed it took longer every week for the toast to pop up. So off to the internet for a new one. We both love cool side toasters since we have limited counter space. I found the cuisinart 4 slice toaster with cool sides for a reasonable price and purchased it. Wow,,,i am so glad i did,,this toaster is wonderful. It has nice wide slots, two separate sides so i can have mine my way and he can have his another way at the same time. Plus having the cool sides makes it wonderful in my small space, no burned knuckles, fingers, hands or bread wrappers from the hot sides of most models. This one i recommend to everyone 100%. Its worth the price believe me. Thank you cuisinart ( now make the things here in the U.S. ok ?? )
Good Toaster for Price May 9, 2008 D. C. Luna I've owned this toaster for 3 years and it has never given me any problems until now. For the price, I'm very happy with the length of time it did work. I'm sorry it doesn't work anymore because it's always browned perfectly. I'll replace it with the same model, and keep my fingers crossed.
looks good, does not work! April 28, 2008 super reader I bought this item with the idea of replacing my 20 year old GE toaster. It only browned one side of the bread while leaving the other side barely warm! Or it would brown one side and burn the other. Well. my 20 year old GE is back on the counter and works fine compared with this piece of junk!
No Problems Yet... April 10, 2008 Kiersten's Grandma (Sheboygan, WI United States) We've had this toaster for about one month now.We almost did not buy it because of all the poor reviews. So far we have not encountered any problems. We have toasted bread,English muffins, bagels and frozen waffles with great results. We use the #4 setting. We like that it has 4 slots and the stay cool exterior which is also very easy to keep clean.I noticed some of the reviews were written several years ago so maybe it has been improved since than.
Beware!! A toaster that doesn't know how to toast! April 2, 2008 S. Pinello (Colorado) I spent over 2 weeks reading reviews about toasters after our old one got lost in the move. Finally I realized how ridiculous it was too spend so much time reading reviews about other peoples experiences with toasters that I just bought this mid-range one. This is the most frustrating toaster! Bagels are sometimes alright. Toaster Strudels come out burnt on the outside and frozen on the inside. Actual bread toast is burnt on one side and barely toasted on the other. It doesn't matter what the setting is. I have gotten different results each time, no matter the setting. Either burnt or not even toasted or a combination of both. Arrgh! Madness. I mean, it is a toaster and it can not toast. I am starting to think that the movers stole our old toaster because none of the new ones being manufactured actually know how to toast. The only advice I have is to keep your $50 and buy a cheap-o toaster... even if the cheap-o doesn't work, at least it would be a better deal. I have given up on toast.
