Amazon.com Review Cuisinart's MP-14 gives new meaning to the term "cutting edge." This premier kitchen workhorse is streamlined, so the base (which measures 9 inches wide by 11 inches deep) looks less boxy and the processor more sleek and unobtrusive than ever on the counter. In addition, the rounded shape makes cleaning easier--no more sticky crevices and corners. But it's more than just looks that put the MP-14 in a league of its own. The 14-cup work bowl has a huge capacity, holding up to 3 pounds of bread or cookie dough or more than 2 pounds of meat, which means less parsing out of batches and more consistent mixing overall. Also, the wide-mouth feed tube gobbles up whole fruits and vegetables, which means less prep work. The powerful direct-drive induction motor base has touchpad controls with indicator lights and a special alternate speed for bread kneading. This model comes with all the basic accessories, including slicing and shredding discs, a chopping/mixing S-shaped blade, and a fabulous metal dough blade (all are stainless steel), plus a plastic spatula, recipe and instruction books, and a 45-minute how-to video. The 2-1/2-foot cord can be wrapped underneath, and all detachable parts are dishwasher-safe. --Erin Brown
Product Description Just what can 3/4 worth of horsepower do when it comes to processing? Well, how about kneading up to three pounds of dough, in seconds for starters? This brawny 720 watt induction motor will whizz through your chopping, mixing, blending and kneading chores with a speed that will take your breath away. The Cuisinart Supreme Wide Mouth feed tube is twice as big as any other feed tube available, allowing you to slice and shred whole foods without pre-cutting. And just as you can load more food in the big tube, the big 14-cup capacity work bowl can process more at one time. Think of all the time you'll save when you don't have to preslice and reload! The whisk attachment allows you to make fluffy meringue, whipped cream, potatoes and more, so you may very well decide you don't need a stand mixer.

Loving it so far. Great for breadmaking, though you can only make a few loaves at a time November 22, 2007 HalfGeek (Washington, DC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I do love this thing. I've been making whole wheat bread, 100%, and you can only make one loaf of whole wheat at a time in even the 14c model. That's the way it is. You can make 2 loaves of white bread. Having said that, I've made the best whole wheat bread yet in this, it really does work, and finally kneads the bread like it should be kneaded. One thing, do be careful about the dough overheating, it's still a problem with this, as with other, food processors. But otherwise, it's a great little device, has been fine for cleaning, the size isn't overly large, and it is pretty. The only problem is that they give you a ton of attachments etc and there is nowhere, nowhere, to store them. Considering how much stuff they send you, and how expensive this is, they ought to give you something to store everything in - I'm talking 15 or so extra "things" that come with this. Great bargain, to be sure, but I've had to keep them in the silly styrofoam they came in in order to store them!
Well Designed. September 26, 2007 JAI (USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I purchased this food processor because it is large enough to use as a food processor, blender and mixer. I am very satisfied with the result. The only awkwardness for using it as a mixer is that you have to take the top off to scrape the sides... no surprise, just an additional step. The appliance itself is beautiful enough to leave on your counter. Downside is that there is no easy way to store the blades etc. they don't fit in the container. I finally resorted to putting them all in a basket.
Very nice! March 11, 2007 Toast 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
My stainless steel Cuisinart looks great and has lots of power. It is however heavy and not easily moved from place to place.
Work Bowl lid sticks & non-responsive customer service February 18, 2007 Poppins (USA) 4 out of 13 found this review helpful
This product is awful and virtually unusable since we can't open the workbowl lid. When I use it, I have to call my husband to open it, and then even he struggles. This must be a major ongoing issue with all units, because the store demo was the same... but we just thought we didn't know how to open it, and didn't want to force it. I have emailed customer service twice, no response. I purchased my first Cuisinart in 1980, and it was wonderful. So this is particularly disappointing.
The Cadillac of food processors! December 14, 2006 CrazyBytch 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
This food processor works like a dream! It's faster, quieter, just all around better than any other food processor I've used! It also hold a lot more. Every time I use it, it surprises me how quiet it quickly chops through anything. I just keep on feeding it foods of all shapes, sizes and textures and it whips through them in a flash with little more than a hum. I would definitely buy this again but won't have to for many decades to come. This is top of the line, a real great gift for yourself or others, I got mine when I was asked what I wanted as a gift by my family. Just to let you know, my brother got a new GTO, and I asked for this food processor and couldn't be more pleased!
