Product Description Perhaps you love cooking potatoes in your non-stick pot because clean up is so easy - but you know a metal masher will scar the non-stick surface for life. Help has arrived in the form of this tool, with a stainless steel grid plate wrapped in silicone. Mix, mash, scrape the sides of the bowl or the pot with this gadget. The horizontal handle improves your leverage when pressing straight down while the non-slip grip cushions your hand. Easy on you, hard on your spuds.

Great mashies August 13, 2008 mjammann (Santa Cruz, CA United States) This masher does great mashed potatoes - the square holes help to keep the mashies from turning glue. The silicone covering makes cleanup easy. The side wings help to scoop of the side of the pot.
Best yet! August 4, 2008 S. Edwards (N.E. Arkansas) This masher is the easiest to use out of all that I have ever had. The handle makes much less strain on your wrist. It will even scrape the sides of the bowl/pan for you while you are mashing. Just buy the blooming thing! You will not be sorry!
super-fast mash! July 24, 2008 Sheri (NYC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I like to mash potatoes right in the cooking pot, and my old wire masher scratched up my old Le Creuset pot pretty badly. So when I replaced the pot, I got this masher, which has a silicone coating. The first time I tried it, I was amazed at how quickly and easily it mashed the potatoes. I think I was done mashing in less than a minute. And no scratches on my shiny new pot, either.
Works better than it looks April 29, 2008 Gene E. Willeke (Oxford, OH USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This potato masher works better than it looks. It looks a lot like inferior potato mashers, but turns out to be quite effective. Its blades are actually pretty sharp and solid. The much-touted rounded edges do help in emptying a bowl, but this is an extra, rather than the main thing. I'm glad I bought it.
I love getting smashed... March 27, 2008 K. Wilson 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
... potatoes for dinner. In this reviewer's humble opinion, there is no other potato masher worth using. The design allows for very comfortable mashing and the silicone covering makes for an easy cleanup. The little silicone sticky-outy things on the sides are fantastic for scrapping the saucepan. Everyone who sees it always comments on how much it makes sense having the handle horizontal rather than vertical. Really, when was the last time anyone complemented your potato masher? Just buy it, already and quit wasting your time reading reviews!
