This Kitchenaid food processor has changed my life! I use it almost everyday. It is easy to assemble and easy to use, unlike the Cuisinart I got rid of. I like it so much that I purchased one for my daughter and another for my mother.

Great product! Works exactly as describde, but please note that it's very large (good- easily handles almost any job and bad- takes up a lot of counter space)

1 out of 5 stars Terrible Quality and Lack Lustre Customer Service   March 5, 2010

I had a Cuisinart food processor prior to purchasing the KitchenAid. I've read all the reviews over the years (Consumer Reports, Cook's Illustrated) claiming that this is, by far, the best option on the market so I decided to purchase one. I've been through three food drums and each has had the handle and locking mechanism crack. It leaks when you have anything more than two cups in the 14 cup drum and it can't seem to handle cheese grating with the disc insert. This is my second bad experience with KitchenAid (a terrible French door refrigerator was another bomb). And the Canadian customer service was, at best, indifferent. If their market reputation is their calling card, they are DEFINITELY on the decline. I won't buy any products from KitchenAid in the future.
