5 out of 5 stars Amazing machine, better than the other brand I had   May 3, 2008
W. Louie (eastcoast)
Before I purchased the KitchenAid Food processor, I had the 3-cup Cusinart. The Cusinart's motor burned out after 1.5 years of use. I have to say the bowl on the KitchenAid feels way sturdier than the Cusinart. Everything on the KitchenAid feels of better quality. Another bonus...it is pretty quiet when it runs. I'm very happy with my purchase.

4 out of 5 stars KITCHEN AID 9 CUP FOOD PROCESSOR WITH MINI CUP   April 30, 2008

I HAVE USED THE "MINI" KITCHEN AID FOOD PROCESSOR FOR SO LONG AND DECIDED TO GO FOR THE REAL THING. I REALLY LIKE THE LARGER ONE AND WISH I HAD MADE AN INVESTMENT IN IT LONG AGO. IT IS EASY TO CLEAN AND OPERATE AND SO FAR HAS DONE A "GREAT" JOB. THE "ONLY" DRAWBACK IS IT IS "VERY" HEAVY, SO REMEMBER "POSITION IT AND LEAVE IT."

I've been looking for a food processor for a long time, reading reviews, checking Consumer Reports, etc., and when I came across this model and all the reviews on Amazon, I decided to buy it.

I absolutely love this food processor - it does everything that I'd hoped for, it is extremely easy to use and to clean, and it looks very handsome on my counter. The workmanship and materials are very sturdy and, compared to other food processors I've heard at friends' homes, it is not noisy at all.

The very first recipe that I made was to puree some apricots, grind almonds, and combine all other ingredients to stuff chicken breasts. My guests were blown away with the creamy consistency of the apricots. I also made the appetizers using the food processor and each one turned out superb.

I am truly impressed with this unit. The price is well worth it.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome food processor   April 2, 2008

Bought this based on reviews. Everything It's supposed to be. Chrome is easy to clean. A little heavy but I feel that's a sign of good quality. All parts are put together well. Nothing feels flimsy. Worth the money
