Great machine March 6, 2010 Don Jeane (South Texas) I purchased this machine for a food kitchen in Victoria, Tx. It has already received a punishing number of days. I personally have the 14 cup Cuisinart and have no problems bragging about it.
At the kitchen, six days a week, this machine is used by any number of persons on a daily basis, some not fully knowlegable of the commercial Cuisinart 20 cup. At this time there are no problems and I do not foresee any.
Thanks

The title says it all. This thing is amazing. I love it. It was a gift and what a gift!!!
This thing gets near daily usage in my house. We use it to make bread dough and pizza dough. We make purees and sauces. We use this when we cook Indian food and when we want to make pastes.
The options of use are staggering. We love the discs and the bread blade. It makes difficult tasks into simple processes that take under a minute.
The unit itself is built with genius design so that there is no way anyone could ever injure themselves using it. Everything must be put together just right for it to work. I really love the detail. Also, some might think that having a lot of plastic parts is a bag thing, however, I view this as a good thing!! Nothing will rust!
This this is a true work horse! My previous food processor was a little Hamilton Beach $25 piece of trash. Using this is night and day to that! The blade on the Cuisinart is so sharp, it's like a freaking ninja samari sword.
Also, it's the little things... like the spatula that comes with it, slides perfectly across the inside of the container, scraping every last drop out of the bowl. It's just great!
Some people might not like that the settings are either... on or off, but I'd have it no other way! I get exactly what I want every time I use this food processor!
Best investment ever January 3, 2008 C. Saxon 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this thing on a fluke in the mid 1980's. I walked into a Sams Club and saw a stack of these that said "one time buy". It was only $250! Now I wish I had bought them all. Needless to say this thing handles every thing you can throw at it without effort.
It's still running strong after 20 years without any trouble. The Lexan lid is beginning to spider crack but hasn't failed yet. I suspect I'll have to replace it eventually. This is the best made appliance I've ever owned.

I bought this model close to 20 years ago - if the motor is essentially the same, it is a very study addition to your kitchen. I use mine quite a bit. The lexan bowls have been replaced several times - they crack - and are almost as expensive as a cheaper, smaller Cuisinart. But if you want the best home model food processor, this is worth every penny.
Excellent Machine April 6, 2007 Pamela Campbell 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have owned this machine for 20 years and love it. 1 motor repair & 1 new bowl are all the additional $$ I've spent on the machine. I use it daily to process everything from cake batter to bread to grating cheese. It is an indispensable item in my kitchen.
