Never worked June 15, 2008 sbut I received this as a wedding gift and was very excited about it. I promptly opened it to make something, but could never get it to work. I've had food processors before, so I know everything has to be locked just so for it to function. I'm sure this one was set up correctly, but it would not operate. Since it has zero user feedback, I couldn't even tell if the unit was getting power (but I tried different outlets that I know work). I'm returning it in favor of a KitchenAid. Between this food processor and the crappy Cuisinart coffeemaker (the grind and brew one) that I just got rid of, I'm done with this brand.
HIDEOUS! Best ad possible for Kitchen Aid! May 28, 2008 SkiBum (United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This thing STINKS! I've had it for two days, and cannot get the %^^^%$ thing to work. Apparently, everything has to be aligned "just so" - but neither the booklet, box, nor DVD acknowledge this, and swiftly skim over assembly. Yuck! Buy a decent brand (Cuisinart used to be, but is now the rock bottom pits).
Yikes, it's wonderful April 24, 2008 Ann B. Lacey (Massachusetts transplanted in Kansas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Yikes, it's wonderful. I mix bread dough in mine all the time. We never buy bread anymore and fresh bread coming out of the oven is usual at my house. It's so easy I've made as many as eight 2 1/2 lb. loaves for large church suppers. People think I'm a marvel, but they don't realize how eazily this product does all the work.

I am not an appliance person. I have a few tools in the kitchen and use them all. So, I resisted buying this food processor because it takes up counter space and I wondered if I would use it enough to justify the space taken up and the price. I should not have waited. I have had this machine for several years and just love it! Once you get the hang of it, it is very easy to use. It is lightening fast and does amazing things to food! For example, the shredder changes the nature of tough veggies that generally need to be cooked for a long time. Use the shredder on hard vegetables like carrots, jicama and broccoli stems (remove tough outer skin). Saute with some olive oil or butter for a few minutes and you have a delicious and quick side dish! Add lemon or saute garlic for variety. The Workhorse! February 8, 2008 C. Munoz (Pacific Northwest) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've never had a real food processor before. I've had a mini processor and an attachment that goes with my blender but they just couldn't handle the larger jobs. I do lots of vegetarian meals where I need to grind nuts, make hummus and pulverize legumes into sauces. I probably use this two to three times a week and it can buzz through anything I put in the bowl. No leaking, rattling or problems. Cleanup is easy enough. It is a large processor and a little too big for me to tote in and out of the cupboard every time I need it - so it sits on the counter and does fit under the cabinets but I have to pull it out in order to put food in so keep in mind you need a little counter space. Happy processing!
