    1 out of 5 stars Terrible!   May 6, 2008

This food processor turned my potatoes to mush and it didn't do a good job chopping nuts or vegetables. The chute leaks food even though there is a guard there. Lastly, the cover/top is extremely hard to lock (and without this, you can't run the machine).

4 out of 5 stars Great, versatile product for just a few dollars   October 17, 2007

This product is great for everyday chopping and food prep tasks. My old chopper had a very small food bowl. This one is huge and holds 8 cups. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

1 out of 5 stars Unfortunate design   September 20, 2007

This food processor is a mistake. Theoretically, you place a plastic disk in the bowl to keep your food from coming out of the chute. The only problem is that once your food is chopped small enough to escape, IT DOES - all over your kitchen counter. I will never again purchase anything with a side spout.

2 out of 5 stars The tab which holds the continuous flow chute is broken   April 23, 2007

It worked for 5 months. Did a decent job with chopping vegetables. Whoever compared this to a "speed boat" is right. This is way too noisy.

There is a tab on the side of the continuous flow chute which activates a safety switch to turn on the motor. This tab is broken. It is such an important piece in this product and this tab is just a plastic and it is now broken. Shame on black and decker. this product is now unusable.

    1 out of 5 stars junk   August 7, 2006

This is a piece of junk. It does not chop, slice or shred, it pulverizes, and it sounds like a speedboat as it destroys your veggies. I think black and decker had some leftover motors from drills and stuck them in food processors. Then they sold them to wal-mart. I bet I'm right. Just don't buy this.
