Amazon.com Review Equipped with an extra-large feed tube, a small feed tube, a dough blade, and slicing and shredding discs, this 600-watt, 11-cup, full-size food processor provides all the power, versatility, and capacity needed by any household. The motor automatically adjusts the speed to ensure proper consistency when mixing doughs. Cooks experienced with Cuisinart food processors will welcome the new feed tube and pusher assembly, which is easy to use and conveniently located at the machine's front. At 4-1/4 inches by 2-3/4 inches, the large oval feed tube accommodates whole fruits and vegetables. The small, cylindrical tube is located inside the pusher assembly and has its own hollow pusher, which removes with a twist. On the bottom of the small pusher is a pinhole for dribbling oil into the bowl while making mayonnaise. The Lexan work bowl is virtually shatterproof and impervious to heat or cold. There's the familiar stainless-steel chopping blade and a dough blade. Stainless-steel slicing (4 mm) and shredding discs, a plastic spatula shaped for the work bowl, a recipe booklet, and an instruction video showing basic use, tips, techniques, and preparation of some recipes from the booklet complete the package. (Existing Cuisinart blades and discs also fit this machine.) Cuisinart warranties the motor against defects for 10 years and the remaining parts for three years. --Fred Brack

The best food processor ever June 24, 2008 William M. Morrissey (San Diego, CA.) Cuisinart invented the food processor and this model is about as good as it gets:) A lot of thought went into this model and it shows. The dual sized mouth is a great idea. I've used it to make bread, cookies, truffles and prepare other ingredients for use in a lot of different receipts. The over all quality is self evident. It's very fast, and easy to use and clean up. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great Product!!! June 9, 2008 Matthew S. Balsavage (USA) The food processor is awesome!! Everything we expected and getting much use out of it already.
GREAT food processor February 13, 2008 Kenneth E. Saari I love it! The only drawback is that sometimes the metal blades are TOO pulverizing. I once used a smaller model of this same processor that had a plastic blade that was ideal for making salsa. However, even so, I prefer the larger processor!
Defective DVD January 19, 2008 Mary Jane Cummings (Covelo, CA USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is my first experience with a food processor and a fresh opinion because I just received the 11-cup new Quisinart DLC-2011 yesterday. I was excited to open the package. I read the instructions and then sat down to watch the DVD. The DVD started out fine but soon became difficult to see, which continued through the whole rest of the video. I could hear the video fine but couldn't see it because it has so many little squares appearing in the picture. So, basically, the DVD is defective. Then I tried to separate the bowl from the base but couldn't and didn't want to break it. I called Cuisinart's toll free number 800 726-0190 in New Jersey and was helped by "Wes" or "West", who happily for me answered the phone at 6:45PM Pacific Time. He explained how to separate the bowl from the base and told me that this model is DISCONTINUED INVENTORY and they have NO MORE DVDs. I am thoroughly disappointed that this is discontinuted inventory and they have no more DVDs to replace this defective DVD. I thought I was buying NEW inventory because this was advertised as being "new". Does anyone know how I can get a DVD or a copy of the DVD for this model? HELP! Now, I'm scared to purchase "new" things on [...].
New to me December 27, 2007 T. McGowan This is my first food processor, I wanted a good one so I would not judge the usefulness on a cheapie. This machine has worked very well. For some small jobs I will prefer my knives. but I compare it to a microwave, (yes I remember when they were new), some things I wouldn't want to do without it.
