5 cup, square top glass blender jar. Replaces Oster square top glass jars. Fits all Oster blender models using a 5 cup jar with a square top. Fits all Oster Kitchen Center models. This is the most common Oster jar type. All Kitchen Centers use this type of jar. This will fit all Oster blenders, but if your is a VERY old model (40 years old), using a 4 cup jar or a new model using a 6 cup jar, your lid will not fit and you may need to purchase the OS-060 lid and cap. THIS IS NOT A GENUINE OSTER PART.

 Perfect Replacement for Osterizer Blender October 6, 2008

I broke my glass jar and replaced it with this one. It works, life is good and way cheaper than a new blender.

The item arrived quickly and in good condition. However, the jar is not the same shape as the jar that comes with an Osterizer blender. I did not realize that the jar was different when I ordered it or I would not have placed the order. I broke my original jar, so I had the lid. My lid did not fit this jar. The jar is very heavy glass. So be sure this is the style of replacement jar you want. It will fit your Oster blender at the base, bu the shape is not the same and it will not fit the lid.

I have the stainless steel beehive blender from my Mom, who had countless parties in the 60-70s using this blender. This year the base threads of the glass blender jar broke, and thank the heavens, Oster still makes the identical replacement! Still has the exact heft and quality as the old one, I am so happy. And the blender is still going strong for my parties and smoothies...

Sasquatch thought me get good deal on blender when me order but Sasquatch just get glass. This fault of Sasquatch.
Me not get lid. Me not get sharp thing. Me not get thing that make much noise. Me just get glass. This make Sasquatch sad because me want to have squirrel smoothie.
Me try to still make squirrel smoothie with glass but it not work. Me put squirrel in glass and try to mix with stick which sharp stick that good for mixing squirrel, but me no have lid so squirrel run out up arm of Sasquatch. Next time me not try so hard to find good deal.

We had a workhorse of a ancient Sears electric blender purchased perhpas 40 years ago. It never quits but the glass container has been broken twice. The first time we managed to find a match from a local store in NYC. This time we just took a chance and ordered an Oster 5-cup jar. It was a perfect fit. To add a fresh matching o-ring gasket was a help too.
