Product Description
These handy stainless-steel discs save food prep time and effort and surprise you with creative results. The julienne disc quickly slices potatoes, carrots, squash, zucchini and other firm vegetables and fruits into crisp .15 x .10-inch julienne matchsticks. The julienne disc is perfect helper for creating uniform strips for salads, garnishes, stir fries and sautés. The parmesan/ice grating disc efficiently grates fresh Parmesan, Romano or hard cheeses, and creates mounds of shaved ice in just seconds. The French fry cutting disc quickly turns potatoes into delicious homemade French fries. The cutting disc also produces slightly curved 1/3- x 1/4-inch sticks from zucchini, carrots, apples and other firm fruits and vegetables. All three discs work with both KitchenAid 9- and 12-cup food processors. Hassle-free 1-year replacement warranty.

Product Features
• Discs are constructed of stainless-steel for maximum durability
• Blades are specially designed for optimum slicing sharpness
• Dishwasher-safe
• Instruction and care booklet in English, French and Spanish included

2 out of 5 stars Doesn't work...   March 23, 2008

I was pretty excited about this, but it doesn't work very well at all. the narrow mouth on the food processor means that you have to cut the potato into halves/quarters to fit. then the disk just ends up making little potato chunks, in addition to just shredding/wasting a bunch of potato.
