Where's the cover... December 27, 2009 CHRISTOPHER FRANK Ice cream maker worked well but why are there no included covers for the ice cream bowls? Directions say to "transfer" ice cream to an airtight container but that seems like an extra unnecessary hassle.

Very good product, works just as advertised. My ONLY gripe is that it gtakes so long to freeze the unit. LOL
Two is better than One August 12, 2009 Kerri Hamblin (Mesa, AZ) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for a Father's day gift for my dad. My mom was so happy that I did. She likes that the original bowl is black so that she can tell when she puts one back in the freezer which one to use next. They practically make ice cream every day and you have to freeze the bowls at least 24 hours or they don't make the ice cream hard enough. So if they do use them every day she can tell that she used the silver one Tuesday so Wednesday she will use the black one. I will definately order one for myself now!
More is better August 4, 2009 R. WILSON (St Helens, OR) I purchased the full machine and then realized I would need more tubs for more flavors. I purchased 2 more and they have paid off, for the company 4th of July potluck I made 3 different flavors, including one dairy free for those that were casin sensitive. They all enjoyed it and loved the fact that I made it in the breakroom and knew it was fresh.
This also is a good price as I was unable to find it cheaper and I am a hunter on bargains.
I find that it does better making frozen custard not Ice-cream July 9, 2009 Jack (NMI) Stecker 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This machine does a good job with sorbet and frozen custard. But it does not put enough air in Ice-cream and it gets hard as a rock in the freezer. I have not tried frozen yogurt yet but will. I found a trick with sorbet that keeps it from freezing hard. I put 2 tablespoons of vodka in the mix. The sorbet was a hit at the 4th of July party we had. It was a really hot day here in Dallas.
