Serve your best gin and tonic or homemade lemonade in these glasses. They look great empty, so just imagine how they'll look with ice, thinly cut slices of lime, and a favorite beverage peeking out. This is not fussy glassware, but in its simplicity it's really handsome. The bottoms are thick and have a signature bubble--they look like they're hand-blown. They also have a great heft, which adds to the pleasure of using them, and are versatile, too. Wonderful for a healthy serving of milk or juice, they'll also hold a sparkling soda with ice, and their smooth rolled rim is nice for sipping. Plop them into the dishwasher, and they'll continue to dazzle over time. --C. Whitney-Ward

We bought 12 of these glasses a year ago. Over this past year, SIX (6) have broken - not having been dropped. Two in the dishwasher, 4 when getting ice out of the freezer. We had cheap WalMart glasses for years and years before this. Finally upgraded, and they just don't have the durability. So sad.

I love the way these glasses look. Unfortunately, one day I opened up the Dishwasher and found that one was broken. There was nothing around it to hit itself on, but either the pressure or something cracked the top of it. So, as much as I love these glasse, I'd recommend handwashing them. Overall great though...

Heavy, sturdy, classy (the bubble in the base is cute!), these glasses should be a part of everyman's basic bar set-up. You can buy fancier, pricier glasses, but there's no need to do so. A classic item, should give many years of happy service.

I just received 2 sets of the Durobar Viking Cooler glasses and couldn't be more pleased ! The weighted, signature bubble bottom design makes them almost tip proof,and a practical choice for daily family use. The clean and simple cut of this glass also lends it an elegance that makes it an excellent choice for parties and more formal occasions.Those of you who hand wash your glassware will be pleased to know these glasses are wide enough to easily get your hand and cleaning sponge in to wash them !
