In a retro mint green, this Dualit Vario toaster has extra-wide, pressure sensitive, spring-loaded slots that allow you to use a new type of sandwich cage (sold separately), also by Dualit. With the sandwich cage, you can toast sandwiches inside your Dualit toaster - your gourmet goat cheese and Parma ham sandwich can be placed inside then inserted into the toaster slot. The sandwich cage's drip tray catches any cheese or filling that might fall out during toasting. Also unique about the Dualit Vario toaster is its award-winning ProHeat element, an adjustable thermostat and a Keep Warm function that warms without toasting. Switches control the degree of browning and the number of slots you wish to switch on. After toasting, your toast doesn't pop up (as it does with other toasters) but stays warm until the manual ejector knob in front is pushed up.
