Product Description Omega VERT Nutrition Center Low Speed Juicing System Model VERT330 The VERT is Omegas newest juicer model. The VERT has a unique design that allows items as firm as carrots and as fine as wheatgrass to be juiced efficiently in the same machine. The contemporary guise of the new model VERT will look attractive in any kitchen, either home or business. The Omega VERT Juicer is a completely different mechanism where fresh juice comes from squeezing rather than grinding. This one Juicer is designed to meet all your needs; it combines the convenience of centrifugal juicer and the efficiency and juice quality of an augur style juicer. Omega VERT Juicer is a newly developed patent product which is capable of making soy milk, vegetable extracting, fresh squeezed fruit juice, etc. LSJS (Low Speed Juicing System) squeezes instead of grinding which allows juice to maintain its pure color, natural taste, nutrients and vitamins.

Great for people with arthritis in their hands July 30, 2010 Samantha McSwain (North Carolina USA) I love this juicer! I did a lot of research before purchasing a juicer, including watching many youtube videos to see how they work. I realized I needed an vertical feed juicer because there was no way my arthritic hands could feed veggies into a horizontal juicer. Yes, this juicer is expensive but I am thrilled to have a juicer that I can use without hurting my hands. That makes it worth the price for me.
Vert has issues July 6, 2010 Rescued By A Pitbull (Off the Grid) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Right-o, so I felt I ought to update my review and change my rating due to a few issues I'm having with my Vert. Recently I've noticed that my juice has more pulp in contrast to the ejected spew of pulp which is now 'less' dry. Spoke to customer service and they stated that it's probably the screen housing or a (ugh) shaved auger. I thought the auger was near steel strong. Still, Omegas' CS was professional, timely and attentive and a couple days later a new screen at my door. No help provided in the swap so Omega is sending a new auger to test out. In the interim I've decided to just purchase a different machine which I know hasn't had screen issues, auger worries and pulp piddle; the Super Angel Juicer. However the beast cost a LOT more than the Vert and I'm a little concerned the quality/ quantity may not be worth the extra incurred cost. So my new machine will make its home here sometime next week and the Omega auger should arrive as well to do a comparison test on.
Returning back on track when I purchased the Vert it was wonderful. Pulp was ever so slight and moist and the juice contained only small bits of pulp which was tolerable. Taste was always superb and rich but frankly I would never have described it as smooth or clean tasting as you sometimes get from a Norwalk. Yes I know a Norwalk is over 2k and it's not a linear comparison.
If Omega would fix the screen and auger issues without concern for auger shavings now I might not have given up on them. Omega is a great company and they stand behind their machines faults and all.
Wonderful, powerful juicer July 3, 2010 C. Newman (Philadelphia, PA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is my third juicer in the last ten years and my first upright, masticating juicer. I LOVE this juicer. It works fast (for a low speed juicer), is easy to clean and takes up little space on my counter. Everything comes out of it wonderfully...hard and soft fruits and vegetables. I use it to make lemonade which is the best I've ever made. The vegetable juices are not frothy, but clear and delicious! Well worth the high price for a solidly built, quality juicer.
Best juicer I've ever used June 17, 2010 simpletalk (Oregon) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have both the breville die cast juicer and the omega vrt330. There is no material difference in either juicing or cleanup speed, except you have to cut the vegetables smaller with the vrt330. The omega juicer gets more juice from less vegetables/fruit then the breville, with much less foam, and it seems like a more concentrated drink. I tried cherries with pits and strawberries, lemon, and various green drinks in both machines. The breville cannot really handle cherries with pits or citrus fruits all that well. The vrt330 is magic and will pay for itself with less vegetables in no time. The only vrt330 drawback for the non-mechanical users is the vrt330 is like a puzzle when putting together or taking apart, but once you get the hang of it, you could almost do it with your eyes closed. Happy juicing!
Pleasantly perfect! June 13, 2010 two cats and a dog (so cal) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Even after reading the reviews here and watching the discountjuicer videos about the Vert on Utube, I was nervous about how well I would like the juicer because of the price. I have a Breville centrifuge juicer, which yields a lot of wet pulp, foam, and noise in addition to the yummy juice. I didn't use the Breville very often even though the juice was good because I felt that a lot of the fruit and veg was wasted rather than juiced. I knew if the Omega lived up to the high reviews I'd get a lot of use out of it.
The first juice I made was carrot, apple, and a small handful of romaine (chopped as per advice from another reviewer)-- it was so good! The machine is smaller than I thought it would be, it fits right on my counter under a cabinet. It's heavy and the rubber feet do a great job of keeping it in place, so well in fact that I have set it on a small washcloth and slide it out on that when I use it. The Vert is really quiet, very easy to use, easy to clean, and the pulp is satisfyingly dry. I've been making juice just about every day lately, and the only problem I've had was from one time not chopping the greens enough. The long leaves just wrapped around the auger and got messed up. Now I always make sure I quickly chop all my ingredients- they don't need as fine a chop like if you were making a chopped salad, a more rough chop is all the greens need.
So, if you know you like juice, I think you would be very happy with this machine. I know I like it, and I'm very glad I saved my pennies to buy it. I think it is worth the money.
