5 out of 5 stars Bought for a gift, may have to buy myself one.   September 3, 2008
Marilan S. Bass (Lansing, Illinois United States)
I bought the coffee maker for my 91 year old mother. It is hard to find one of these in the stores. I was surprised at how quicly I received the item. My Mom loves this coffee maker and has convinced me I need one too. I think she may be right. It does exactly what it states on the box, is a perfect size for a small kitchen and gets the job done.

4 out of 5 stars older is better   September 3, 2008
Sandra M. Miller (Maryland)
I have an "older" version of the B&D Cup-at-a-time coffee maker that I have used daily for at least 6 years. It just keeps going! I needed one for my office at work and got it on-line. The shape is different and I'm having a heck of a time pouring the water in the well without it going all over the counter. Other than that, it makes as good coffee as the old one (which is still going strong!!)

3 out of 5 stars Good but not great   September 2, 2008
A. Jun (Chicago)
PROS:
-doesn't take up much space
-easy to use
-reasonably priced
-brews a mug of coffee quickly

CONS:
-difficult to pour water into the unit

Would I BUY IT AGAIN?
-probably not, but then again, I'm not going to return it either.

Would I give it as a GIFT?
-only to a college student

5 out of 5 stars Great little coffee maker   August 31, 2008

For the price this is a great little coffee maker.Takes up little counter space and makes a good hot cup of coffee.Perfect for those times when I want to make a quick single cup of coffee.

4 out of 5 stars Good little coffee maker!   August 19, 2008
Mom of A&K (Chicago, IL)
This product is exactly what you would expect. It is compact, easy to use, easy to clean, and makes good coffee quickly. And, I like the permanent filter, saves time (and money) over the paper ones. The only problem I had is that my coffee mugs were too big to fit. My mugs are slightly larger (4 1/4") and they don't fit. I had to purchase a regular sized mug, which was no big deal, it would just have been nice to know that ahead of time.
