excellent product July 22, 2008 coffee drinker (Ponte Vedra, FL) I bought one of these teapots about 18 months ago and have been using it every day to boil water to use with a French press coffee pot. It is a simple design--no digital displays, no timers, no nothing just an off-on switch. It works beautifully. It takes about 5 minutes to boil a quart of water--about half the time it takes my gas stove. I just bought another one to use at my, summer home. If you want hot water quickly, this is a great choice.
Shorts out July 17, 2008 ----- 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ugh! From the day I bought it I had to jiggle the cord to keep it on. I'd walk away, waiting for it to boil, only to discover that it was off again.
Dependable little teapot! July 16, 2008 Felting Mom (Monterey Peninsula, CA, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had my proctor-silex electric tea pot for 2 years and just bought another one for work. It has been just great and I especially like the automatic shut off. This is the way to go for someone like me who has burned several regular tea kettles on the stove because I got busy with something else.Water heats quickly and I like that it is all one unit. It is not the most beautiful looking thing but it serves me well!
Awesome Product - Electric Kettle July 14, 2008 K. A. Kares (Bel Air, Maryland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This little kettle is perfect!!! It boils the water in no time, and holds enough water to make 3 mugs of tea or hot chocolate. Great for the office. I purchased two of these (one for home, one for the office). It's made well and the perfect size. I loved the price, and this product is well worth the money. I give this 5 stars!!
Convenient Way to Heat up Water in the Office July 14, 2008 B. A. Chaney (Baltimore, MD USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this kettle to heat up water in my cubicle at the office, and it works great. The 1 liter size is good for a day, because it gives me several cups of water without having to make multiple trips to the fountain to fill it up. The water heats quickly, and its easy to detect when the water is hot. It's nice that the cord unplugs from the back of the kettle, because I can unplug it at the end of the day as an extra security feature. A good kettle for the price.
