This is a cool little gizmo that gives instant hot water. I'm a tea drinker and a mother of oatmeal eaters so it comes in handy on crazy mornings when time is precious. My one issue with the Hot Shot is it can give the water a plasticky taste and that new appliance smell. I leave it open when not in use and it seems to solve the problem. I also sent water through it a few times to "break it in". It's handy and if you find yourself filling the kettle a few times a morning it's worth the purchase!

I was first was introduced to the Hot Shop when visiting my daughter. It was fantastic and so quick and easy to use for hot tea, coffee, instant oatmeal. So the day after I flew home, I was buying my very own Hot Shot. I use it daily for hot drinks. I is also a great starter for making steel cuts oats, I heat the water in my Hot Shot fill my pan and we are eating a earlier than starting with a pot of cold water. I love it so much I bought one for my Mom's birthday and she loves it's and has gotten rid of her tea kettle! This is one super gift everyone needs they just don't know it yet!!!

Great item for heating small amounts of water in a hurry. The hot pot takes up very little room on the counter. It heats a cup of water in about 60 seconds. Does a excellant job for cups of soup, tea, or any instant hot beverage. Also a good way to pre-heat water that will be used for cooking a small amount of pasta. Good Value.

Works even better than stated. Heats in approximayely 25 seconds (faster than the 90 seconds claimed). This my thrid Hot Shot. I now have one in three different houses. I highly recommend this product.

I love this product and couldn't survive without it. I bought one for my mom and she feels the same way. We have one in the kitchen, 5th wheeler, mini-camper, office and my husband has one at work. All of mine are still working, I just move the oldest unit to a not as popular place. The last unit I purchased because I needed a black one because of the changes made in my kitchen....but could never find one locally....small town until it showed up on Amazon. Thank you!!
