The Toastess electric kettle boils water faster than a microwave oven or a stovetop burner so you can enjoy hot tea, cocoa or instant soups in just minutes. It holds 1.7-litres and has an advanced technology with a concealed heating element that permits fast and easy cleaning. A removable Aquascreen filter ensures clean, scale-free water, and a concealed heating element permits fast and easy cleaning. The Toastess electric kettle is equipped with a three-level auto safety shutoff system: it has an auto boil and off switch, shuts itself off if plugged-in while dry or shuts itself off when lifted off the round power base. It has an easy-to-read, illuminated water level window and comes with a lid that snaps tightly into place for safe use. The round base allows you to place the kettle back on top from any direction, giving everyone at the table access to the hot water without having to reach awkwardly.

This is the worst product and Customer Service I have ever experienced.
This product is made in China which explains the poor Quality.
I bought the TJK-55 kettle from Amazon and in a week I noticed a rust spot at the bottom of the kettle. In 2 months, I noticed 2 rust stains (5 cm in size) in the spout.
I contacted Toastess International authorized service provider - Fox International. They agreed to replace the kettle.
I incurred almost $9 in shipping back the product. After 2 weeks, instead of getting a NEW replacement unit, I received MY same kettle back with the rust stains still very visible. They obviously have not read my letter explaining where the rust stains were and per customer service I was to get a NEW unit back. To add insult to injury, they returned it without my outer box - they put scotch tapes around the box the kettle was manufactured in and shipped it. Without the outer box for protection, the kettle could have incurred further damage while in transit.
I've since contaced Fox International AGAIN, this time asking for my Money back. They said I have to wait 1 week for a RESPONSE.
I will never buy another Toastess kettle or any of their products!

The Toastess TJK-55 is a well designed kettle that works very nicely. Others have lids which are so tight you cannot open them, this one closes tightly but is still easy enough to open for filling. It heats water quickly and pours well. Ours gets used at least twice a day and it is a pleasure to use it.

An elegant looking cordless electric kettle that heats up quickly and pours beautifully. Only 2 minor problems: the cord is too short and the water indicator stays fogged up after use. But these are small complaints. It works like a gem and looks great.
