Amazon.com Review This flexible, 9-1/2-inch-long spatula bends with your food, not against it, so you won't end up mangling the delicate omelet you're trying to flip. The 4-by-5-inch head has rounded corners and tapered edges to slide easily underneath the widest of pancakes. Because it's constructed from highly heat-resistant silicone, this turner won't melt if you leave it propped up against a skillet, and it won't scratch or otherwise harm your beloved nonstick pans. The KitchenAid logo even doubles as a spatula rest, so you can place the turner up against the rim of a pan without it sliding in. With its cheery chrome accents and convenient hanging loop, this turner will brighten your kitchen even as it stays within arm's reach. --Mary Park

Does the job October 7, 2007 R. Anderson (Baldwin, NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Had a Calephon spatula and everything stuck to it. The KitchenAid Turner is great. Nothing sticks. Cleans easily. I recommend it.
I've never waxed poetic about a spatula, before. March 25, 2007 James M. O'Connell (Campbell, CA) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This spatula... it's like holding a piece of space-age hardware in your hand. I'm so impressed. The silicone is flexible and doesn't scratch the non-stick surfaces. I'm almost teary-eyed with wonder at the way it handles my eggs. It doesn't work so well on the linoleum floor, when trying to scrape up dried ketchup. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't come in other flavors and colors.
Best Spatula March 23, 2007 J. McMahan (Asheville NC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Nothing sticks. Love it for preparing eggs for breakfast. Helps when removing biscuits from my toaster oven because other spatulas tear the biscuits apart if the the biscuits are stuck just the least bit. I really want the slotted spatula. Yes, it's handle is heavy but being shorter than nylon spatulas, it doesn't pose a problem for me. No, it's not designed to lift heavy items without the aid of a second spatula. When I turn sausage or hamburgers, I use 2 spatulas anyway just to prevent splatter. Wish I could have happened upon an unhappy user at his/her garage sale because I certainly would have bought it. I also have the spoon spatula & I love it, too.
Don't buy this November 12, 2005 slinkylink (Austin, TX) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
For a silicone spatula it is not heat-resistant. The first time I used it the edges cracked. Plus it is not flexible so you can only use it at certain angles. Waste of money...I sold it in my garage sale! I recommend Le Creuset instead.
Easy-clean finish October 26, 2004 Momto5boys (Midwest) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have the four piece set of these silicone utensils, and have been very pleased with them. They are heat resistant, heavy-duty, and look sharp. They are slightly flexible, but I have not found this to be a problem unless you want to do heavy scraping with the turner. The best part is the wonderful easy-clean properties of the silicone. My other heat-resistant utensils always look icky and need to be scrubbed with a scouring pad to clean the textured finish. These look great right out of the dishwasher! I've had them for a year and they've held up great. The turner has not disintegrated on the edge, either, like many other types do. The smooth finish allows food to slip right off without sticking as you're cooking.
