Product Description So what should you be looking for in a pizza wheel? A sturdy, comfortable handle and a sharp blade that won't corrode. Oh, and wouldn't it be nice if you could hang it for storage, and throw it in the dishwasher to get rid of all that gooey cheese? Well, here you go, all in a stylish package.
Amazon.com Review With a thick, stainless-steel blade beveled to a sharp edge, this heavy, sturdy wheel-type cutter rolls through pizza, fudge, lasagna, and other foods, dividing them into neat serving portions. The cutter has a finger guard and a stylish enamel-like handle. It's made of 18/8 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish and is dishwasher-safe. The wheel is 4 inches in diameter for quick work. Overall, the cutter measures 9 inches long. KitchenAid says the first year of the cutter's lifetime warranty against defects is hassle-free; the company will ship a replacement at no cost and without question if a defect is detected. --Fred Brack

OUCH!!! December 26, 2007 A Texas reviewer I found out the hard way that this pizza cutter that it doesn't have anything to protect your fingers above the cutting surface. All the other cutters I have have protection on the top and bottom so I have gotten used to pressing down on the top of the cutter to slice my pizzas. Big mistake with this cutter with an equally big and nasty cut on my thumb. If you decide to buy this pizza wheel be very careful.

This Cutter Means Business! April 26, 2006 B. Jordan (Big Bear, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Like others, I have to agree that this is the best pizza wheel I have ever owned. I have been struggling with inferior pizza cutters (and we eat a LOT of pizza in my house) for YEARS. If it can't go in the dishwasher, I don't want it -- and I'm happy to say I've given this one a beating and it hasn't let me down. Use caution when putting the blade protector on for storage in your drawer -- the blade is SHARP! It's weight is perfect in the hand for cutting everything from cracker crust to deep dish, and I love the thumb guard. Get the large version -- worth every penny!
Solid and Smooth August 12, 2005 D. Osborne (Milwaukee) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Super heavy pizza cutter, feels great in your hand. It has a very smooth roll and cuts with ease. Bat far the best pizza cutter I have owned - even better than Pampered Chef's. Dishwasher safe too, which is a plus.
Serious Pizza Cutting tool May 21, 2005 Bruce E. Layne (Lexington, KY United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
It's rare that a tool feels this good in your hand. Someone at KitchenAid put a lot of love into this design. They really sweated the details. The handle is ergonomic. The hilt is functional and beautiful. The plastic blade guard works well, and is a nice touch. I didn't think a pizza cutter could be this good. If Jedi knights made pizza, they would have invented this instead of a light saber.
