Amazon.com Review From KitchenAid's Gourmet Essentials line comes this cookware set made of hard-anodized aluminum. Durable, handsomely finished in matte charcoal gray, and known for its exceptional heat distribution and retention properties, hard-anodized cookware is a very popular choice for the home chef. KitchenAid embellishes these pots with stainless-steel handles, riveted for strength and wrapped with cushy, stay-cool silicone grips. The lids, made of break-resistant glass for optimum viewing, also feature silicone-wrapped handles, highly arched to enable easy grasping with a potholder or oven mitt. Both the pans and lids are oven-safe up to 400 degrees F. An excellent value, this 10-piece set consists of the most frequently used kitchen pots and pans and makes a great gift set. The two skillets, measuring 8 and 10 inches in diameter, handle everyday frying and sautéing needs, from eggs-over-easy to grilled cheese sandwiches to fish filets, then crepes for dessert. Three saucepans holding 1, 2, and 3 quarts let you boil a single egg, heat soup, and slow-cook a creamy risotto with wild mushrooms. The larger 6-quart stockpot with two loop handles works admirably for family-sized batches of pasta, chili, soup, and corn-on-the-cob. The nonstick finish releases food quickly and makes clean up by hand a snap. It's best to keep the nonstick cookware out of the dishwasher. KitchenAid covers the set with a one-year, hassle-free replacement warranty. --Ann Bieri What's in the Box 10-piece cookware set. The set consists of: 1-quart covered saucepan; 2-quart covered saucepan; 3-quart covered saucepan; 6-quart covered stockpot; 8-inch skillet; 10-inch skillet. 10 pieces total.
Product Description Whether you're starting up or starting over, the KitchenAid Hard-Anodized 10-pc. Cookset is the perfect kitchen staple. This metal pot and pan set features hard-base ceramic, nonstick interiors for outstanding food release, durability and scratch resistance and heavy-duty, break-resistant glass lids that sit firmly on the pots and pans. Each piece also features cool grip handles that provide a safe grip.

good set for any kitchen October 11, 2008 tcp (Rutherford, NJ) all sets are fine, good for any kitchen, no scratches, washing is breeze and heat is distributed properly. recommended
Great Value! September 30, 2008 Pete (NY) These pans are great. I thought you could never find a non-stick pan that's actually "non-stick". But I was wrong, this one is. When I cook, I like to burn some stuff a little just to get that crunchy taste to the food and I always had a problem washing the pans that I had. These pans are easy to clean without any elbow grease. I had non-stick calphalon cookware and they weren't even close to being as good as these pans. I gave those away and kept these. These are even a lot cheaper than the calphalon set that I bought.
Great to cook with! September 14, 2008 M. Rodriguez (San Antonio, TX) I'm not a gourmet chef, but these pots make it so I could be! They have easy to grip rubber handles, easy to clean glass tops, and are great for any kitchen! The non-stick coating really works and food slides out of the frying pans and pots with no effort or scraping! If you're looking to upgrade your kitchen this is a great product for the price!!
Kitchen Aide cookware August 15, 2008 Philip S. Meier This product is excellent. No sticking, burning, warping, etc. Worth the money-seems like they will hold up well.
Great Cookware All Around August 8, 2008 lillie (Nebraska) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this set. My husband loves this set. We aren't gourmet chefs by any means, but this makes it easier to cook without all of our food sticking to the pans. We wash dishes by hand anyway, so this isn't anymore difficult to care for than our old pots and pans. My only wish is for lids to fit the pans. Everything else was pefect. Love it, would recommend it to anyone that cooks on a regular basis. We got it when it was down to 99.99, so watch for sales.
