Product Description It's of utmost importance when zesting or peeling citrus to use only the outer skin for flavor or garnish, leaving the bitter white rind untouched. This gadget does the job in style and is designed with your comfort in mind.
Amazon.com Review With two uses in one utensil, this tool is the ultimate for working with citrus. The head features several sharp holes for zesting lemons, oranges, and more, while the channel knife lets you create elegant garnishes and decorations with little effort. The large, comfortable handle is brushed stainless steel with rubber fins for comfort. It's also nonslip under wet or dry conditions. The large hanging hole in the handle makes storage easy. Like all Oxo products, this tool is dishwasher-safe. --Laurie Notaro

| Customer Reviews:
it zests... August 28, 2008 A Working Dad (East Coast USA) Got it cause the wife said she wants one. Never seen her use it though. But it looks nice.
A nice tool to have September 7, 2007 DomesticLaura (Boston, MA, United States) This zester creates strips of zest that are perfect for the decorative flourish on salads, fruits, desserts, pastas, etc. I also like the thick zest created by this zester in my pasta. The other reviewer is right though that if you needed finely grated zest this isn't the right tool. The microplane grater is perfect for very fine zest such as what you would need in key lime pie.
$8 for recipes that require curled zest not grated zest April 4, 2007 Dwight (USA) 0 out of 5 found this review helpful
