A brilliant innovation, this 1-cup measuring vessel is not round but oval. That means calibrations are printed on the cup's sides, as is conventional, as well as on a patented guide inside the cup that's angled so it can be read from above. The result is that this cup doesn't have to be held up--or bent down to--in order to determine how much liquid it contains. While Oxo guarantees satisfaction with a money-back guarantee, there's no reason to return this product. It's better than any other measuring cup. When I have 2 of the same style of measuring cup..you would
KNOW that I love these measuring cups! Great 'look down' to
see how full the measuring cup is..no more picking it up to
look from the side and maybe spill some of the contents.
(Not me...no, I have never done that before!) Great addition
to a kitchen shower gift.

Ok, so you know how when you use the traditional measuring cup, the measurement can be a little over or a little under dependent on how you look at it? Well, this solves the problem. Of course, I am not a professional chef by no means, but this is soooooooo easy to use.

These measuring cups are so easy to read - from the top or side. They are very comfortable to use. I appreciate the lighter weight after using heavy glass measuring cups for years. The 3 sizes stack easily.
