Hi Everyone! I am writing this review because I am ALWAYS the 1st to tell you when something is wrong or not as described, etc.! Well, I need also to be the first to tell you when the shoe fits the other foot instead! This Sanyo Grill HPS-SG3 is everything it says it is and more! I bought it roughly 6 to 8 weeks ago and I have used it at least twice a week since then if not more. And, I plan to continue to use it just as frequently as well. It cooks the food evenly and is a snap to clean-up afterwards. The only thing I would recommend to Sanyo is that they need to make the drip tray with the sides a little taller so that it could be a little deeper. I put just enough water in the drip tray to prevent smoke, thus allowing me to dump the water out without making a spill. This grill makes the perfect gift for him or her and for any occasion! And it is SMOKELESS if used correctly! Don't be sorry though that you didn't order one for yourself! From Order Placement to Product Receipt at my home was roughly 4 days! Fantastic all the way around, and the shipping was FREE!!!! ENJOY!!!

I have had this grill for about a month now and we use it at least three to four times a week. We have grilled chicken, fish, steaks, burgers, veggies and even peaches and at no time have we ever had a problem with smoke or anything sticking to the grill itself. As long as you always put the water in the pan and remember to spray a small amount of cooking spray on the surface you should have no problem. Also be sure to clean the top and bottom of the grill after using. I suspect some of the people that have reviewed this product and have had a problem with smoke are not cleaning it properly and old grease is more than likely causing the smoke. I would highly recommend this grill to anyone. Especially those looking to eat healthier.

I have used my new grill now about a dozen times and am truly happy with it. I was a bit skeptical as to whether you would get that grill taste that you get from a gas grill but have been pleasanltly suprised. I have cooked hotdogs, pork chops and chicken and can not taste any differences. I could tell quite well with steak though, of course it was a cheap cut. Overall though heats up quickly and easy to clean. When I showed this to others they thought this electric grill was just the coolest thing. A truly great product for those in apartments who can not have the traditional gas grill or for those who just don't want to be outside in the cold.

Sadly. my Sanyo Electric Grill arrived broken and had to be returned. There were no more in stock, so I cannot review the product.
