Great except for one thing June 25, 2008 P. Stephens This microwave is nearly perfect. It is a good medium-large size, looks nice and does not show excessive fingerprints. The controls are easy and useful and it performs well. The only thing that really annoys the heck out of me is that the clock/time display is very difficult to read, particularly from an angle or a distance. There is no contrast. You really have to be looking straight on, up close, to read it. My previous microwave had a display that was very easy to read, so I don't understand why this one is so difficult. It is going to bug me for the lifetime of this microwave, because it's too much of a pain to return it to Amazon.
ok for the price June 6, 2008 Judith E. Messenger (chester, ma. United States) one thing that bothers me about this microwave oven is the door latch. It seems to be a bit unstable and i am wondering how long it will last. Time will tell. I guess they do not make things like they uses to
works but more watts and presets would be nice March 30, 2008 Earl S. Power (Fitzwilliam, NH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Panasonic finally died (after 8 years!!) but I couldn't find another to replace it so my criteria being the dimensions of the old, I chose this Sharp model. It works well, but the old Panasonic had more preset buttons (popcorn, beverage, ... etc) which we used pretty extensively. It still reheats my coffee well, but it takes longer than our previous model in cooking sweet potatoes.
Great Microwave May 16, 2007 M. Mitchell (Tallahassee, FL) 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I bought this microwave to replace one at work that suddenly quit working. I needed one that was full size and at least 1000 watts. This microwave is great. It has multiple presets for defrost, reheat and cook, works flawlessly and looks sleek. I highly recommend it.
