Great with some minor annoyances June 30, 2008 Jeff (Boston, MA USA) This is a great product, replacing my cheap black and decker toast-r-oven. It clearly is a much higher end product and hopefully will last much longer (my black and decker conked out in 18 months). Some minor annoyances 1) why is there no indicator light or sound when the oven is preheated to the desired temperature? 2) The knobs are kind of strange- the inner part of it turns but the numbers do not, takes a little getting used to. Other than that, the family really likes it. It's a bit bigger than we expected.
Yet another broken door June 28, 2008 C. Price (Rochester, NY) Savvy consumers beware...Our oven door also stopped shutting properly after just a few months of use, and eventually the handle broke, just as previous customers have reported. This item is way too expensive to deliver such a poor performance.
So Far So Good... June 24, 2008 Rohin Khemani (New York, NY) It may be a little soon to write a review about reliability, etc. but so far so good. This toaster oven does exactly what it's supposed to do: toast my bread to the crispness of my desire. One strange design flaw however: the crumb tray can only be removed from behind the oven. This means if your oven's on a kitchen counter against the wall, you have to swing it around to clean the tray. I've already made a mess a few times...
Door doesn't close May 26, 2008 Borat (NJ USA) After about 3 months the door doesn't close. This oven is way overpriced. Stick with a B&D for 1/3 the price. The only -- and I mean ONLY -- redeeming factor for this cheap piece of junk is that it has 4 heating elements instead of the usual 3.
Oven Door Won't Shut Properly... May 22, 2008 J. Vernon I've been happy with most Cuisinart products I've owned in the past, but this time around, I'm unhappy with the fact that the toaster door doesn't shut properly. Maybe it's a fluke, but we struggle with the door every time we use it. Of course, I need to pursue Cuisinart to see if they can replace it.
